Coach Dresser has now brought a level of attention and scrutiny to the power structure of collegiate wrestling that is long overdue. He obviously regrets his initial choice of words but said what everybody else outside (actually some inside) of Iowa City were thinking.

Aside from the events of this week, I would encourage those who are not already listening to his weekly podcast with Jason Bryant to start doing it. ... especially if you want to hear a coach who gives credit when appropriate but focuses primarily on accountability and commitment rather than 'if only this call or that call went our way' excuses.

For those who have only heard the 'Iowa oranges' interview, you may be surprised to see/hear how down to earth and relatable Coach Dresser really is.

This guy is an absolute gem for VT and student athletes he coaches.
